SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT:
-pain around the gluteal fold or buttock
-need to rule out lumbar spine and hamstring tear before considering it
-common in distance runner and jumpers
-overuse injury
-usually involve compressive forces combined with abnormal loading
-reduced strength and pain in (resisted) knee flexion (isometric)
TEST:
-ischial tuberosity palpation
-isometric knee flexion
-90/90 test
-modified single leg bridge
