GLENOHUMERAL INSTABILITY

Biologie

Définition

Traumatic
Result of a direct contact (95% of dislocation are ant). Often associated to Bankart (inf and ant labrum rupture) or Hill-Sach lesions (compressive fracture of the head of humerus).

SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT:

Traumatic injury

-prominent humeral head and a space below the acromion

Aquired

-Dead arm syndrome (lose strength on their arm)

-sometimes with subluxation of the humeral head


TEST(s):

-Sulcus sign for inf laxity

-Load and shift for ant laxity

-Post laxity test

SLAP injury

-O'Brien

-Biceps load

-Speed's test
