BICEPS TENDINOPATHY

Définition
Biceps tendinopathy
Tendinopathy occurring in the long head of the biceps. Is a result of shoulder instability, impingement, rotator pathology or overuse of the shoulder.
SUBJECTIVE ASSESSMENT:
-tenderness in the bicipital groove
-direct palpation is painful
-pain after exercice or the next morning
-pain that might disappear during a warm up but come again during the cool down
-overuse (cannot say a date)
TESTS:
-Speed test (also test for SLAP injury)
EXERCICE:
-strengthening of RC
-scapula stabilization
