1) L'obligation au passé

HAD + TO + Base Verbale

Exemple : They had to wear gas masks.

2) L'autorisation au passé

WAS/WERE (NOT) + Allowed to + Base Verbale

Exemple : We were allowed to play with the local children.

Exemple : Sometimes brothers and sisters were not allowed to live il the same families.

3) La voix passive

A la voix passive, le sujet devient le complément d'agent et le COD devient le sujet.

Sujet qui subit l'action + was/were + participe passé + by + complément d'agent

Exemple : One third of London was detroyed by the German Air Force.

4) La probabilité au passé

90% => must + have + participe passé

50% => may + have + participe passé

30% => might + have + participe passé

0% => can't + have + participe passé

5) Le Blitz
